Do use the w-word

In a recent article titled ‘Don’t Use the W-word’, the writer Angel Eduardo counsels against using the term “woke”. While the article itself is decent – it’s written with the aim of promoting constructive dialogue – I’m not convinced by Eduardo’s arguments. Let’s take each one in turn.
