A highly misleading chart

In April of last year, Science published a many-authored paper arguing that race is a “sociopolitical construct rather than a biological one”. The paper’s centrepiece is a chart that appears to show human genetic variation as “continuous” and “category-free”, thereby dispelling any notion that races might exist. There’s just one problem: the chart is highly misleading and does no such thing.
